Brenda Long Mauldin
For almost three decades, I have enjoyed a successful career as a fundraising professional in central Arkansas. I have worked with a variety of organizations to raise funds for the arts, youth programs, a hospice program, a Christian residential youth home, and now as a fundraising consultant. My career in the nonprofit sector has given me firsthand experience in nonprofit management and administration, board and volunteer management, strategic planning and fundraising.
As a fundraising consultant, I enjoy working in partnership with organizations to match funding needs to the interests and priorities of funders. As a grants professional, I manage the grant writing process from concept development and research through the completed application.
I enjoy working in the non-profit sector and find it personally, very rewarding. I enjoy helping organizations meet their funding needs, as well as helping them expand their capacity. I subscribe to the Association of Fundraising Professionals Code of Ethical Standards and support the Donor Bill of Rights.
I started my consulting business in order to work differently – to have a little more flexibility in my schedule, and to continue my work in the non-profit sector.
